On July 26, Yasuko Matsudo Velligas, 92, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away. Yasuko was born in Lahaina, Maui. Yasuko enjoyed homemaking and crafts. Her gifts of embroidery and sewing made life more comfortable for her family. She faithfully attended Our Lady of Sorrows Church for over 50 years and retired from Leilehua High as a cafeteria worker. Yasuko is predeceased by brothers Gintoku, Seiyu, Seizen; sisters Natsuko, Akiko; son Anthony. Survived by husband Frank; sons Dalton (Nona), Robert, Frank (Tommie) and John (Ronalyn); daughter Pauline (Gary); 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brothers Ginyei Matsudo, Jinchi (Charleen) Matsudo; sisters Misaye Nakamura, Evelyn S. Araki, Margaret Zaan.
