Beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Aug. 29, 2018, concluding a full life filled with love and happiness. She was 91. The second-eldest of four children, Mrs. Lee was born Sept. 15, 1926, on Maui. The family resided in plantation camps around the islands before settling in Palama. She graduated from Farrington High and went on to apply a love for numbers to clerical work. She retired from the Queen's Medical Center. She enjoyed retirement with her husband Joseph Lee, who passed in 2001. She is survived by sons Glenn Lee and Dennis Lee, daughter Arlene Kalani, grandchildren Michelle Lee Austin, Clawz Lee, Summer Lee Vith, Penny Lee, Ha'aheo Kalani and Nanea Kalani, and three great-grandsons. Private services were held.
