81, of Whitmore Village/Wahiawa, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, at her home on September 24, 2018. She was born in Paia, Maui and was a retired home health care aide. Predeceased by father Kame, mother Ushi, sisters Kiyoko and Katherine, and brothers Ichiro, Jiro, and Masaru. Survived by sons Lance and Blaine, daughter-in-law Tanya Blanco-Gurtiza; grandchildren Kayla and Landen; siblings Sakae Uehara and Jane Takayesu. Private Services were held. Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
