Katherine Shirley Schuman
Katherine Shirley Schuman, 95, of Honolulu, formerly of Lahaina, Maui, died on September 25. 2018. She was born March 9, 1923, in Brooklyn, New York. A graduate of Pratt Art Institute in New York, she moved with her husband, Robert, to Hawaii in 1950. She was a long-time art educator with the Dept. of Education. She spent many years teaching art in Lahaina. She is survived by children Katherine "Kathi" (Steve); Roseanne "Annie" (William); Rosemarie "Romy" (Raymond); and Paul (Julie); eleven grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; siblings: Eugene, Anne, and Elizabeth. She was predeceased by husband Robert, and daughter Helen "Ipo" Kudlich. Services were private.
