On Sept. 14, 2018, Kirsten Jan Tyson, PhD. passed on due to complications from brain cancer at 69 years of age. She will be forever remembered by her husband, Mark S. Anderson, and her step-daughter, Kyla Blase Anderson. Kirsten grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska, attended Macalester College, and earned her doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy at Kansas State University. On a daily basis Kirsten helped people to love each other, both at the work place and at home. A Celebration of Kirsten's Life will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 10AM, at the Oahu Cemetery Chapel, 2162 Nuuanu Ave, Honolulu, HI.
