Age 93, of Kaneohe, Hawaii passed away peacefully on Friday, October 12. He was born in Waialua on January 11, 1925. He retired from the City and County of Honolulu, Department of Transportation Services after 38 years and was also a World War II veteran. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Dorothy; sons Leslie (Jann) Watanabe and Lance (Colleen) Watanabe; daughter Penney Nakamura; brother Sadao (Betty) Watanabe; and 5 grandchildren Ryne and Brett Watanabe, Lyndee (Jesse) Park, Travis Nakamura, and Dane Watanabe.
