76, of Honolulu, HI, passed away on October 21, 2018. Born on October 22, 1941, Kimo joined the US Army in his youth and later went on to become a successful entrepreneur. With a charismatic personality and passions for travel and exploration, he also worked as a tour director for several companies such as Grand Circle Travel (AARP Travel Service) and Globus-Cosmos. His charm and ability to leave lasting impressions with anyone he encountered are what paved the way for his marriage to Adriana Grigsby. Kimo is survived by Adriana, along with their son, Nicolas "Nico" Grigsby and beloved K9 daughter, Daisy Grigsby. The Grigsby family will hold a private inurnment ceremony for Kimo in early January at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. Kimo's unwavering love and care for others are what will be remembered in the hearts of his friends and family; in return, the Grigsby family asks that positive wishes and messages are sent to him as reminders of the impacts he left with loved ones.
