Veronica Rivera Yadao, 85 of Paauilo, HI, died on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the Queen's Medical Center on Oahu. She was born in Bangui, Ilocos Norte, the Philippines and was a retired waitress with the Hilton Waikoloa Resort. She was also a member of the St. Columba's Episcopal Church in Paauilo. Friends may call at the St. Columba's Episcopal Church on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, where a Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM, followed by burial at the St. Columba's Episcopal Church Cemetery. The family requests that casual attire be worn to the services. She is survived by her daughter, Letty Jane (Michael) Galloway of Keaau, HI; sons, John (Sylvia) Yadao, Jr. of Paauilo, HI and Thomas (Wendy) Yadao of Waipahu, HI; sisters, Marina Melchor of Maui, Elsie Marcelia Younce of Oregon and Nena (Kausiga) Tukana of Maui; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews.
