99, of Honolulu, passed away on October 20, 2018, at Leahi Hospital. He was born in Honolulu and was the owner of Freddy's Motor Works, Inc. He is survived by son; Clyde K. Matsushima (Lynn R.), daughters Carol M. Ushijima (Norman I.), and Joyce S. Higashi; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by wife, Susanna Matsushima.
