Rose Yaeko Markey, 86, of Waimea, Hawaii, died October 27, 2018. Born on January 22, 1932, in Honokaa, Hawaii, she was retired from Punahou School where she worked and volunteered for over 25 years. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Kamuela Hongwanji Mission on Wednesday, November 21. Visitation from 10-11 a.m. Memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Reception immediately following. Family requests casual attire be worn. She is survived by daughters, Karen Markey Crawford, Krislynne (Dave) Schultz, Kelli Linda Markey; grandchildren, James Marques Silva, Nicole Lokelani Crawford, Evan Kawika Crawford, Dylan Kekoa Crawford; sister, Kiyome Yoshimatsu; numerous nieces and nephews.
