John P.Y. Ng passed away on November 11, 2018, in Honolulu, Hawaii, at the age of 77. He graduated from Farrington High School, Class of 1959. Worked at Coca-Cola, and was a Chef at Green Turtle, the New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel, Michel's, Bob's Bar-B-Que and Pagoda, and owner of Joy Cuisine. John is predeceased by parents Soo Chung Ng and Julia Young Ng, sisters, Margaret Wong, Katherine Quong, RoseMary Trimm, and brother Peter Ng. John is survived by brother, Larry (Paz) Ng, sisters, Mary (David) Wong and Julia (Osmund - deceased) Lee, and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018, at Diamond Head Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial at 2:00 p.m. at Diamond Head Memorial Park.
