Randolph "Randy" Shiraishi passed away from an unexpected, brief battle with cancer on September 11, 2018. Randy was born on August 24, 1949 in Honolulu as the second child and eldest son of Shigeo and Adela Shiraishi. He was an alum of Radford High School and an Army veteran (Green Beret with the 8th SFG). He earned his medical degree from UH John A. Burns School of Medicine and worked as a physician in California and Nevada for more than 30 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, dog lover, and enjoyed going on international medical volunteer missions. He is survived by his three loving children Anne, Daniel, and Paul; his mother; siblings: Cynthia, Steven, and Robert; and his girlfriend, Cheryl.
