80, passed away on December 1, 2018. She was born in Hilo on June 10, 1938 and resided in Kahalu`u. She started her career as a Bank Teller and worked her way up as a insurance adjuster for John Mullen. She also had her own fish market on Kekaulike Street. Preceded in death by her parents Joseph Maka Awa and Bertha Pang. Survived by husband Robert Roy Wilson, children; Shona Mae Lam Ho, Waldorf Roy Wilson, Robyn (James) Bachesta, Buddy Roy Wilson, Rene Wilson Jacobson, Guy (Katherine) Wilson, Kapena (Jackie) Wilson, 19 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchildren. Siblings; Bertram Awa, Sheila Iseri, Joseph Awa Jr., Janice Enos. Services will be held January 7, 2019 at Our Lady of the Mount Carmel (Waikane), Visitation: 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with Service to follow at 10:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Burial at 2:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples.
