87, of Kailua, Hawaii passed away on October 11, 2018. She was born April 28, 1931 in Jamestown, New York to Thomas Gurney and Alice Kerschner Gurney. She graduated from Oberlin College, Ohio in 1953 and briefly was a physical therapist before marrying Dr. Robert Gardiner Rigler on October 8, 1955 and moving to Honolulu, Hawaii. She was a member of the Junior League of Honolulu, and the Honolulu chapters of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Mayflower Society, and the Colonial Dames. Her hobbies included genealogy, gardening and line dancing. She is survived by daughters Linda Rasmussen (Mark), Margaret Taylor (David), and Donald Rigler (Malia), and grandchildren Willem Rasmussen, Sophia Rasmussen, Janna Taylor, Troy Taylor, Lauren Taylor, Luke Taylor, and Mary Rigler, as well as a sister, Susan Stoner of Colorado Springs.
