Lois Setsuyo (Ishikawa) Sakima
87, of Kaneohe went to her heavenly home on December 19, 2018. She joins her parents, siblings Richard Ishikawa, Herbert Ishikawa, Laura Malone, Jane Iritani and Mildred Nakagawa, and her husband Kogoro who passed away 3 months ago. Lois was born on March 6, 1931, in Honolulu, the 6th child of Matsu and Yoriko Ishikawa. She was a registered nurse and worked at various facilities including VA Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, Shriners Hospital, and for pediatrician Dr. Hagino. She later worked as secretary for Community of Christ Church until her retirement. She was a member of Community of Christ Church, Ishikawa Shijin Kai and Ginowan Shijin Kai. Lois was a dedicated servant of the Lord and touched many lives. She is survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and many beloved friends. Service to be held at Hosoi Garden Mortuary on January 2, 2019. Visitation at 10:00am, Celebration of Life at 11:00am. Casual attire, no flowers. Arrangements Provided By: Hosoi Garden Mortuary
