Robert Kui Fah (“Hobo”) Ho
Robert Kui Fah (BO) HO 83, died on November 18, 2018 at Queen's Medical Center. Born September 25, 1935 in Honolulu to Henry Kim You & Annie Kui Yin Wong Ho. Attended Iolani School '53, Modesto Jr College '55, Oregon State University, Bringham Young University '57, and was a post graduate of the University of Hawaii. Was a branch manager at American Security Bank and later taught 35 yrs for Hawaii's Department of Education at Liliuokalani, Manana, Nuuanu, and Kauluwela elementary schools making a positive difference in Hawaii's keikis. Is survived by wife Evelyn, son Byron(Meeka), daughter Candise, brother Calvin(Carmen), grand- daughter Kailana, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, tennis buddy Dr. Stephen S.F. Choy, and caregiver Beatriz Borres. Was active at Sts Peter & Paul Church in Music and Eucharistic Ministries. Fond of Hawaiian and Broadway music. Enjoyed playing tennis, slack key guitar, ukulele, and chess, as well as speaking Chinese, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, Tagalog, and engaging in American Sign Language. Magic was also one of his favorite hobbies. Services: Sts Peter & Paul Catholic Church January 7, 2019 Monday. 8:30 am-9:30am Visitation; 9:30am -11:00am Eulogy & Mass; 1:00pm Burial at Hawaiian Memorial Park. No Flowers. Casual attire.
