CLARENCE KANEALI’I CRABBE
CLARENCE KANEALI'I CRABBE97, of Waianae passed away on December 8, 2018. The eldest of seven children, born to Clarence Edward Crabbe and Ilan Akamu Crabbe, Clarence was a graduate of St. Louis College, class of 1939, and a member of Sacred Hearts Parish Waianae. He retired as a merchant seaman, with 42 years of service with Matson Navigation. He is survived by his wife, Catherine. Sons: Gabby Kalawaia (Roz) and Francis. Daughters: Ilona, Patty Souza (Stanley), and Gabriella Kaipuaala Crabbe-Lewis (Keith). 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Brothers: Eric (Janet) Mogul (Maka-deceased), Sister: Momi Crabbe, Sister-in-Law: Bonnie Crabbe (Vollmar-deceased). Clarence was preceded in death by parents Clarence and Ilan Crabbe, son Kamaka, and brothers William (Ida-deceased), Vollmar, and Sturmar (Henrietta-deceased). The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, and CNA's on the 3rd floor of Kaiser Permanente Moanalua for taking such good care of dad in his final days. A celebration of life for Clarence will be held on Thursday January 3rd, 2019 at Borthwick Mortuary on Maunakea St. in the Maunakea/Vineyard Chapels. Visitation: 9-10:30 am; Services: 10:30 - 11:30 am; Lunch: 11:30 - 1:30 pm; Inurnment: 2pm at Oahu Cemetery on Judd St.
