Dorothy Yoshie Kishi Ikeda
Age 94, passed away peacefully September 4, 2018 in Pearl City, HI, of pneumonia. Raised in Kohala, Dorothy worked as a secretary in Chicago, and in a medical office and at Richardson-Vicks in Connecticut. She was married to Otto Masaru Ikeda for 40 years and had 2 children, Clyde and Debra. She moved back to Hawaii in 1998, living with son Clyde until his death in 2013. Dorothy was an active Norwalk Methodist Church member, loved to travel, cook, read, watch TV and visit with friends and family. She is survived by daughter Debra Ikeda and son-in-law Glenn Carpenter of Stanford, California, step-grandchildren Catherine and Adrian Carpenter, brother-in-law Theodore Ikeda, sisters-in-law Ruth Ikeda and Yoshimi Ikeda, numerous nieces/nephews, and numerous grandnieces and grand- nephews. Services will be held on 1/7/2019 10 AM at Hosoi Garden Mortuary with visitation at 9 AM and internment at Punchbowl at 2 PM. Casual attire. No flowers please.
