Passed away on Thanksgiving at age 88. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a kind and loving Matriarch. She is survived by son Leland K., daughters Christine Mahoe-Yasue, Melanie (Darryl) Garcia, Failynn (Donald) Lum, 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, a brother Herman Failing, and sister Diane Makekau. Viewing will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 4:30-8:30pm. Services will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 9:00-10:00 am. Both will be held at Borthwick Mortuary, Mauka Chapel. Burial to follow.
