79, of Hilo, died December 7, 2018 in Honolulu. Born in Seoul, Korea she immigrated to the United States and eventually settled in Hilo where she worked at Hilo Lagoon Hotel. She later became office manager for Garry Morita Electric. She was a lifelong member of the Hilo Korean Christian Church. Memorial will take place at Dodo Mortuary Chapel in Hilo on Saturday January 26, 2019; visitation 1 PM/ service 2 PM. Survived by son, Dr. Shane Young Morita (Dr. Jaimie Shannen Tom): grandchildren, Josiah David Morita, Elijah Garry Morita, and Zechariah Nicholas Morita; brother, Hingashi Yoo; sister, Jum Soon Yoo, and numerous nephews as well as nieces.
