Kokuji Kochi peacefully died in his sleep at home in Honolulu on Sunday morning, December 16, 2018 at the age of 83. He was born in Okinawa City, Okinawa, Japan on August 2, 1935. He and his wife were the owners of Ku'ulei Delicatessen which served the community of Kailua from 1972-2004. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Miyoko; his sons, James and Eric; and his grandchildren, Braeden, Beija, and Angelo. Private services held. Arrangements Provided By: Hosoi Garden Mortuary
