Passed peacefully at home on December 11, 2018, at the age of 69. Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Michael fell in love in Hawaii and with Hawaii, residing on Oahu for more than 40 years. Retired Captain, US Navy and retired Attorney for the State of Hawaii. A loving husband, dad and papa. Survived by his wife Marie (Texeira), Son Marcus Jess (Dawn), Daughters Delrie Ku'uipo (Herb) and Denise Malia; 10 Grandchildren; 6 Great grandchildren; Mother Dorothy, Brother Patrick (Bonnie) and Sister Susan (Clark). Memorial services will be held at St. Elizabeth Church, Aiea, January 8, 2019 visitation 9:00am; Services 10:00 am; Military Honors: 1:00p at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl). Aloha Attire. No Flowers.
