90, passed away in Honolulu on November 29, 2018. She was born on December 16, 1927 in Ka'u, Hawai'i to parents, Basil Kekauhiniamakaokahekili Apiki and Juliet Nohokula (Kahiwa) Apiki. She was a retired housekeeping supervisor for Kuakini Medical Center, a Kupuna of Keaukaha Hawaiian Homestead - Hilo, Hawai'i and of the Alu Like Kupuna Program. She is preceded in death by husband, William Joseph Omerod. She is lovingly survived by her children, Dianne Ondo, Jana Jones, Catherine (Roy) Brooks, Wendy Jo DeLaura, Louis (Heather) Omerod, Kelly Jean (Terry) Manning, John Omerod Sr. (MaryAnn); many grand, great, and great-great-grandchildren. Celebration of life services will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; visitation from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m., service to begin at 10:30 a.m., with inurnment to follow 1:00 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
