Ellarene Joy (Ne Pang) Pang-Sue
Of Honolulu, HI died in Queen's Hospital, surrounded by her family on October 20, 2018. She was 62 years old. Ellarene is survived by husband, Dalton Sue; children, Devynne Sue, Denysse Sue, and Dyllon Sue, grandchildren Rhyenne Like-Sue and Rhegynne Like-Sue; brothers Everett Pang of Kamuela, HI and Earle Pang of Anaheim, CA; sister Ernelle Leong of Kailua, HI. Ellarene was born on December 19, 1955 to Ernest and Evelyn Pang. She attended St. Andrew's Priory and graduated from Syracuse University in 1976 with a degree in communications. Ellarene had a 40-year career as a clerk for the US Federal Court in Honolulu. She was well respected by her colleagues and often helped file and properly complete complicated court documents. She loved her career, but her priority was always her family. She married Dalton in 1982 and together was blessed with three children. Ellarene's highlight was watching them grow and participate in dance showcases, Merrie Monarch competitions, and 'Iolani football games. She loved spoiling her granddaughters taking them shopping. Ellarene was a life-long Episcopalian and a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Kailua, Hawaii. Ellarene passed away peacefully at Queen's Hospital after suffering a stroke. She will be remembered as loving mother and grandmother. Services are scheduled for Sunday, January 27, 2019 at St. Alban's Chapel on the campus of 'Iolani School. Parking is available in Weinberg Parking Structure with entrance via Kamoku Street. Visitation is at 2:00pm, Celebration of Life service at 3:00.
