Delellis Gallagher Andrews, “Dee”
DELELLIS GALLAGHER ANDREWS, DEE Preceeded in death by her parents Edward and Delellis Gallagher, brothers Jack and William, husband Franklin and son George. Survived by her loving children Tom, Kevin (Carol), Anne (John), Patty Pecken (Michael), Bob (Maura), and Larry, her fourteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Dee graduated from University of California, Pennsylvania and taught high school. She joined the navy in WWII and received the rank of Lt. first class while stationed in Pensacola, FL. She was a flight attendant based in San Francisco, she met and married Franklin Thomas Andrews settling in Southern California to raise the family. In 1974 Dee and Frank moved to Kailua enjoying life of travel, sailing, and playing bridge. She continued her love and commitment to serve with the Assistance League. Her funeral mass will be on February 11, 2019, 11AM at St. Anthony of Padua Kailua where she was a dedicated parishioner for 43 years. Burial to follow at the Veterans Cemetery.
