99, of Honolulu, passed away on December 25, 2018. Born in Honolulu, she was a retired Army and Air Force Exchange Service clerk. Preceded in death by husband, Donald and son, Frank, she is survived by her son, Thomas (Carol) Toyama; daughters, Toni Hirata and Irene (Allen) Sakamoto; eight grand- children; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, James and Ernest Miwa; sisters, Chiyoko Hamaoka and Grace Fukutomi.
