74, of Honolulu, died on November 22, 2018 at Kaiser Moanalua Medical Center, surrounded by loved ones. A Roosevelt High School graduate and avid karaoke enthusiast, he worked for the State Department of Human Services for 28 years and retired in 2009. He was predeceased by wife June and brothers Harold, Rikio, Edward, David, and James Higa. He is survived by brother Katsumi Higa, sisters Mildred Tamaki, Esther Tanaka, Lillian Kashiwabara, and Kiyono Au, and many nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. 3:00pm Visitation. 4:00pm Service. Aloha attire. No flowers.
