Linda Kaiser, born August 7, 1950 in Hilo, Hawaii, was the ultra-endurance athlete. Her achievements were astounding. Linda was a State Champion in equestrian riding. She was the only woman to swim all Hawaii channels. She completed over 50 marathons, 10 ultra-marathons and the Ironman World Championship. She paddled on the first women's team to cross the Molokai Channel in a two-man canoe. She is a member of the Hawaii Swimming Hall of Fame, the Hawaii Waterman Hall of Fame and the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame. She accomplished everything she set out to do with astounding intensity, attitude and perseverance. Linda Kaiser passed away peacefully at her home on December 31st, 2018 at age 68. She is survived by her brothers, Steve and John Kaiser, nephew Keone Kaiser, nieces Mealani and Ha'ale Kaiser and her beloved Rottweilers Lola and Lillie.
