Nathan Minoru Kurosawa
NATHAN MINORU KUROSAWA Nathan Minoru Kurosawa passed away on December 3, 2018, during a layover in Sapporo, Japan. He was a flight attendant with Hawaiian Airlines for 33 years and an award-winning writer-producer-director of short and feature films. Born in Honolulu in 1965, Nathan graduated from Kaiser High School and went on to earn a B.A. in literature and creative writing from UC San Diego and an M.F.A. in film production from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. He is survived by son Brandon, stepdaughter Andrea, parents Ernest and Sumiye, sister Kendra, brother Todd, and former spouse Martha. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at the Hawaii Okinawa Center in Waipahu. Visitation: 10:00 a.m. Program: 11:00 a.m. Aloha attire.
