DIETRICH ERNEST AKUTAGAWA, JR. Dietrich was born on July 4, 1972 and passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at the Queen's Medical Center. He graduated from Pearl City High School in 1990 and worked at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard for the last 20 years. Dietrich is survived by his parents, Dietrich & Annette Akutagawa Sr.; sister, Nicole (Kealoha) Kamekona; nephew, Kaenakai Kamekona; nieces, Harley-Jean, Peyton & Presley Kamekona; sidekick mom, Gloria Aquino; brother/cousin, Dino Aquino; girlfriend, Margene Leong. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019 at Mililani Mortuary, Mauka Chapel. Visitation: 5:00 p.m.; Service: 6:30 p.m. Scattering of Ashes: 12:00 p.m., Saturday, February 2nd at Waimano Trail in Pacific Palisades, leaving Palisades Rec Center at 11:30 a.m. for a motorcycle/old car convoy to the top of Palisades, returning to the rec center at 12:30 p.m. for lunch and a final Celebration.
