98, passed away peacefully on January, 5, 2019 at the Arcadia Residence in Honolulu. Born in Honolulu on March 25, 1920, Vicky and her late husband Anson Manual Rego ran successful restaurant/bar businesses in Kaimuki and Waianae. She was a licensed real estate broker, an active member of the Kaimuki and Waianae Business Association. Vicky was a committed member of Sacred Heart Church - Waianae and Sacred Heart Church - Honolulu. Preceded in death by her husband Anson Manual Rego (1988), brothers Benjamin Kaai, Avard Ostrom, John Ostrom (step-brother), Douglas Bright, Robert Bright, Willie Bright, Jr., Roger Bright; sisters Lillian Ostrom Eitel, Alice Kaapa Pereira, Florence (Momi) Bright Meshke, Mary (Kay) Ostrom Penaroza, Helen Bright Furtado. Victoria is survived by son Anson O. Rego (Meymo), daughter Donna R. Ede (Roger), seven grandchildren, thirteen great- grandchildren and Lanny Ostrom, step-brother. Services: Sat., Feb. 16, 2019, Diamond Head Memorial Park. Visitation: 10:30am; Service: 11:30 am; Burial: 2:00 pm. Loose flowers or lei from your garden are welcome.
