Amy Emiko Iwamoto
Passed away on January 15, 2019 in Arcadia, CA. Born on August 25, 1926 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Yozo and Masae Noguchi. Eldest daughter of seven children, graduated Kaimuki High School 1944 and worked for 39 years at the Pearl Harbor Naval Supply Center. Married for 50 years to Richard Yoshio (Maui) Iwamoto (deceased). She is survived by her three children; Joi N. (Michael) Muranaka, Kevin M. (aka Kevin I.) Iwamoto, and Gayle M. (Marvin, deceased) Wong; grandchildren: Mathew (Janelle) Muranaka, Michelle Muranaka, Christopher, Ryan, and Brandon Wong; great grandchildren: Lincoln and Liam Muranaka; siblings: Robert, deceased (Sonoko) Noguchi, Iris Noguchi, Frances (Chuck, deceased) Hollstein, George (Esther) Noguchi, Bob (Lillian) Noguchi, Nancy (Ed) Matsui. A Celebration of Life will be held at Central Union Church, 1660 South Beretania St., Honolulu, on Wednesday, February 27, 2019. Visitation: 10:30 a.m.; Service: 11:00 a.m. Private family burial. No flowers or leis; donations in her memory can be made to The Hawaii Foodbank, 2611 Kilihau St., Honolulu, HI 96819-2021.
