Edward Charles Douglas
Edward Charles Douglas, 71, of Kaneohe, formerly of Hilo, Hawaii, passed away on January 29, 2019. Born in Lynn, Massachusetts, the son of Frances and William Melton Douglas, he was a graduate of Kamehameha Schools and Chaminade College. Ed was a former Sergeant in the Honolulu Police Department and in retirement, found much joy helping others with their home improvement projects. He had a zest for life and lived each day to the fullest. His greatest love was his family and his grandchildren. His survivors include his wife of 43 years, Shaleen (Lei), daughters Jennifer (Arun) Surendra and Jennel (Chad) Sesoko; brothers, Kimo Douglas, and Marty and Patrick Flood; and grandchildren, Kannan and Alana, Dax, Selah, and Rhea; nieces and nephews; and his dog, Tofu.
