Philip Kala Kekuewa Jr., died peacefully on February 02, 2019 surrounded by family and friends. He was one of seven children born to Philip Kala Kekuewa Sr. and Leialoha Kanakaole. He is survived by his wife Diane, daughters Leialoha and Susan, sisters Leilani and Mildred and brother James. Preceded in death by his son Philip Kala Kekuewa 3rd, daughter Queenie, sister Adeline and brothers Peter and Paul. He was the proud "Papa" of 14 grandchildren and 22 great- grandchildren. Sonny, a former beachboy in the 50's and 60's was retired from Pearl Harbor. He was one of the founders and charter members of the Beachboys golf Club and Life Member of the Elks Club. Scattering of ashes will take place on March 03 2019 at 8:00 am in front of the Outrigger Hotel. Loose flowers are welcome. Arrangements Provided By: Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary LLC
