96, an Army veteran and a retired carpenter, passed away on January 30, 2019 at Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Waimea, Kauai. He is survived by daughter, Violet (Jim) Sugi; brothers, Matsuki, Takeshi, Mutsuo, Ronald and Floyd (Jeannie); sisters, Toshiko (John) Braga and Haruyo Yokotake, and by four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
