Died February 15, 2019, at the age of 94, at home. She was born on the Big Island and is survived by her sons, Allen and Richard M.; daughters-in-law, Joanne and Colette; brothers, Satoru Abe, Fred Abe (Pam) and Robert Abe (Reiko); sisters- in-law, Gladys Fuchigami and Marion Kashigi; granddaughters, Dr. Lori Sakoda (Timothy Dorrance), Raeann Young (Casey Young), Dr. Marissa Sakoda and great- granddaughter, Rayne Young.
