EARL LESLEY PENAROZA 76, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away peacefully at The Queen's Medical Center on Thursday, March 7, 2019, surrounded by close family. Earl was born in South Kohala, Hawaii on October 31, 1942, to Wilson and Lillian Penaroza. A graduate of McKinley High School c/o '61, he served as a green beret in the Vietnam war and then as a police officer in the Honolulu Police Department for close to 40 years. Earl was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Nickey and Robert, and nephew Ronald. He is survived by his wife Lois, sons, Mark and Ryan, and sisters: Lovelyline, Lynda, Adele, Maile, and Leona. Services will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Central Union Church, in Honolulu. Visitation: 2:00 p.m.; Celebration of Life: 3:00 p.m.
