82, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2019 at home in Aiea. Born on May 5, 1936 in Honolulu, HI Former owner of Waiau Fish Market at Stadium Mall. He is survived by his loving wife Irene (Shodai) and 2 daughters Suzanne (Say) and Roxanne (Altona). Brother Harry (Amy), Sisters Grace (Tonokawa) and Karen (Au), 6 Grandchildren, 5 Great-Grandchildren, nephews, nieces, grand-relatives and wonderful friends. Preceded in passing by Parents Eijiro & Hatsume Tanoue, Brothers Kiyoshi, Sadao, Dyke & Roy and Sister Edith (Maeda). He graduated from Kaimuki High School and served in the U.S. Army. A welder for 16 years at Industrial Welding. Later owned and operated Waiau Fish Market for 33 years then retired in 2008. Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 31, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Visitation at 3:00 pm, services begins at 4:00. Casual Attire. Arrangements Provided By: Hosoi Garden Mortuary
