Richard Hann, Jr.
Richard Hann, Jr. RICHARD HANN, JR. Richard Hann Jr., passed away peacefully and with dignity on January 27, 2019 in Honolulu HI. Born in Baltimore, MD., he attended Catonsville Sr. High School. Immediately upon graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps where he served with distinction in Vietnam, achieving the rank of Sergeant. After his military service he attended the University of Baltimore with the help of the GI bill while at the same time serving as a Federal Protective Service Officer. After obtaining his college degree he joined the U.S. Marshals Service and served there for 20 years, in Northern California and Hawaii, reaching the rank of Inspector. He led special operations all over the world and taught marksmanship to various law enforcement agents. One of his favorite assignments was teaching at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers in Glynco, GA. His retirement years were spent in Hawaii where he lived for 38 years. He leaves behind his devoted friend Mari Romeo of Kailua, HI. his brother Joseph of Mt. Pleasant, SC and many family members and dear friends. He lived his life in service to God, Country and his fellow man. Donations can be made to the US Marine Corp Museum in Quantico VA. Semper Fi! Service will be held on Friday, 3/22/2019 at 9:00AM at Woolsey Grace Memorial, 534 Ohohia St., Honolulu, HI. Burial at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at 11:30am.
