90, passed away peacefully at Hospice Hawaii's Kailua home on January 30, 2019. Born in Honolulu, Harue was a graduate of McKinley High School in Honolulu and retired in 1993 as the head custodian of Maunawili Elementary School with 25 years of service. She loved her school and all her "school kids" and was known for giving her kids, "Ice Cup" snacks. She was survived by husband Shoichi, who passed on March 15, 2019, at age 99, daughters, Judy (dcd. 2010) and Molly, son, Gary (Patti), and granddaughters, Kelsey and G.Kenna. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, March 25, at Hawaiian Memorial Park Chapel in Kaneohe. Visitation will be at 10 am followed by a service held at 11 am.
