In loving memory of our beloved father, grandfather, and brother, Albert Pavao (Pavy) Medeiros, Jr. who joined his wife, Ellen, in heaven on January 14, 2019. He was 71. He was one of four children born to Albert P. Medeiros, Sr. and Veronica (Lui Kwan) Medeiros. He was raised in Honolulu and graduated from the University of Hawaii Lab School. He served as a police officer with the Honolulu Police Department, worked for Continental Airlines, Aloha Airlines, and State Civil Defense (now known as HI-EMA). He was a successful entrepreneur and started Paniolo Popcorn (Hawaii's first kettle corn business) with his business partner in 1999. He continued to make popcorn and mentor young people at the Saturday KCC Farmer's Market until February of 2018. He was a devoted father and loyal friend. We miss him everyday. He is survived by daughters, Dyan and Nani; granddaughter, Olivia; sister, Anne (Chuck) Higgins; brothers, Charles and Peter (Pamela Matsukawa); and hanai children, Robin Tagabi and Robert Ferreira. Services will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2019, at Diamond Head Mortuary Chapel. Visitation at 9:00 a.m., service at 10:30 a.m., and inurnment at 12:30 p.m. Aloha attire.
