HELEN (NE LUM) HUANG 92, of Walnut Creek, California, passed peacefully in her sleep on March 8, 2019, after complications due to Alzheimer's. Helen was born in Honolulu to Woon Lum and Rose Sam Tong. She is predeceased by all of her siblings and their spouses: Elsie Pang (Charlie), Eddie Lum (Rose), Leelin Ho (Henry), Doris Zane (Jack), Ahwah Lum, Margaret Ohara (David) and Albert Lum (Nancy). Helen frequented Palama Settlement, attended Likelike Elementary and Farrington High School, and worked in communications at the Naval yard. She was married to Yoong Lee Huang, who was from Indonesia. Lee died at age 46 and Helen never remarried. Helen is survived by her son Glenn (Cindy) Huang; daughters: Hillary (Ben) Copeland, Cheryl (David) Tsang; grandchildren: Marisa, Nicole, Ryan and Kevin; great grandchildren Ayrae and Cataleya.
