February 7, 1927 - December 26, 2017 Carol was born in Ewa, Hawaii to parents Chuichi and Tsuru Miyake. She graduated from Mid-Pac in 1958 and earned her BA degree in Art History from CalState Long Beach. Carol worked for Ford Aerospace, Loral Aerospace, and worked part-time following her retirement at Woodbridge Manor in Irvine, CA. Carol is survived by her daughters Jody Shepard (Wayne), Susan Ryan (Eric), son David McMasters (Sandra), sister Frances Nakamura, grandchildren Eric Girten Sr. and Kylie McMasters, along with two great-grandchildren. Carol was preceded in death by her husband Ronald, her parents, brother Tadaaki Miyake (Alice), sisters Lillian Byrd and Kathryn Robinson.
