91, of Honolulu, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2019. She was born to Masao and Mitsue Yoshimura on June 23, 1927. She was a career educator, teaching at August Ahrens, Benjamin Parker, Anuenue, and Wilson Elementary Schools before retiring in 1980. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Edward T. Yamaguchi, son Jon F. (Stephanie) Yamaguchi, daughter Ann T. (Curtis) Nishimura, and four grandchildren: Amber (Rudy) Andrion, Jonnel Le, Cara (Jerry) Muniz, & Casey Nishimura. She was predeceased by her sister Doris H. Takatsuka, and brother Edwin M. Yoshimura. At her request, a private service was held on March 18, 2019 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary Interment at Diamond Head Memorial Park
