Franklin Yoshinori Yamamoto
Dr. Franklin Yoshinori Yamamoto, 76, of Honolulu, Hawai'i, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2019. He was born on September 7, 1942 and was a graduate of McKinley High School. Franklin was an allergist-immunologist at his 'Aiea practice, Hawai'i Asthma Allergy Associates, for 34 years. He also served as the Founder and Medical Director of the Hawai'i Asthma Camp; Medical Director of the Allergy Clinic at the Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children; and Associate Professor of Pediatrics with the John A. Burns School of Medicine, University of Hawai'i. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Irene; daughter, Amy (Owen) Nishimura; son, Adam; granddaughter, Kira; and siblings, David Yamamoto, Margaret Sumida, Harriet Suzuki, and Robert Yamamoto.
