Shinkichi “Paul” Yamashiro
Passed away on February 8, 2019, at the age of 90. He was born in Honohina-North Hilo and attended Ka'u High School. He was a retired owner of Peerless Meat Market in Kaimuki and retired driver for Associated Producers. Survived by his wife, Clara; daughters, Naomi (Tony) Somera, Lisa (Herbert) Kaneshiro; son, Jon (Shann) Yamashiro; six grandchildren; two great-grand- children; sister, Mary (Leo) Cabiles; sisters-in-law, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Masa and Usa Yamashiro; brothers, Eishin, Kazuo, Hideo (Kikuye), Shinyu (Kazuko), Samuel (Leiko), Shinju, James (Kathleen); sisters, Yoshiko (Wallace) Shiroma and Harue. Visitation at 10:00 am and services at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. No flowers. Casual attire. Arrangements Provided By: Hosoi Garden Mortuary
