(90) passed away on April 18, 2019. He was born in Ola'a, Mountain View, Hawaii Island and moved to Wahiawa, Oahu, where he graduated from Leilehua High School in 1948. Thomas joined the Army Air Force and served in the Korean War. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California in 1959. After moving back to Honolulu, he worked at Rehab Hospital of the Pacific and Straub Clinic & Hospital before going into private practice for 30 years. He enjoyed the outdoors; golfing, tending to bonsai & fruit trees in the yard and hiking to collect branches for lomi sticks he made for his craft business, "Lomi Sticks by Tom", and sitting outside with his dogs. He will be remembered as a man of little words and his "Go for Broke" attitude. Thomas is survived by his wife of 63 years, Alice H. Kim; daughters: Iris Kim, Maile Kim and Tammie Kim; grandchildren: Kei Ching and Jak Kim; brother Hak Mun (Lucy Wee) Kim. Memorial will be held on May 6, 2019 at Oahu Mortuary Chapel. Visitation: 10:00 a.m.; Service: 11:00 a.m. Aloha attire, lei only in lieu of flowers.
