Dorothy "Dot" Michie Onouye of Honolulu passed away on April 3, 2019 surrounded by loved ones. Born on May 5, 1923, Dot was a graduate of McKinley High School and business school. She was a beloved educator at Waialae School and spent her final years enjoying aqua therapy, singing, and socializing with friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Kiyoshi, she is survived by daughter Linda (Glenn) Tatsuno; son Galen (Vera) Onouye; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Services will be held on Sunday May 12 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary with visitation beginning at 1 pm followed by services at 2 pm. Casual attire is requested.
