83, originally from Waipahu, peacefully gained her wings on March 13th at her home in Honolulu. Known affectionately as "Baybay". She was the youngest and last surviving of 8 siblings, who have all greeted her with open arms. She was a devoted single mother, an avid gambler, who loved going to Las Vegas. Survived by sons Ford (Joy) Achiu; Maurice "Kimo" (Toni) Achiu of Georgia; John "Teighlor Armani" Achiu. Daughters, Suzette "Joey" Cortez; Karla (John) Menard. 18 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren. Mom was preceded in death by sons Jason Achiu and Stacey (Joni) Achiu. Services will be held, Friday, May 10th at Mililani Mortuary Park, Makai Chapel at 10:30am, burial to follow at 12:30pm.
