69, of Pearl City, passed away suddenly on April 22, 2019 by his rose garden. Raised in Kapoho and Pahoa; graduate of Pahoa HS, UH Manoa CTAHR. HARC retired agronomist; an active volunteer at UGC, HRS and a regular at C&C Leeward golf courses. Survived by wife, Shelley, son Ryan, daughter Lesley Sacramento (Benjamin Jr.), brothers Gerald (Leatrice), Paul (Janice), Derek, Joel, two grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Tsuyoshi and Yoshiko Santo, sister Barbara Kato. Celebration of Life May 14, 2019: 4pm visitation; 5pm service at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. No flowers.
